This project is a conversion of the former Unitarian Church of Edmonton into a private residence. Originally built in the mid 1960’s by Architect Don Bittorf, the building is restored with subtle design interventions and the replacement of fixtures and equipment to reduce the project’s carbon footprint. Designed to meet LEED® Gold, the building upgrades maximize the redeployment of existing materials salvaged and/or refinished on site alongside the use of local stone and water saving fixtures, R40 Roof, sunscreens, displacement ventilation and operable windows.
