This unbuilt project was the winner of an architectural design competition for the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta. Using a simple palette of local and natural materials, this building was to showcase the Province of Alberta’s commitment to sustainable design while providing an elegant three level residence for private living and, public space for official functions and dignitaries; on a quiet street in one of Edmonton’s more prominent and leafy neghborhoods.
