The jury of the American Institute of Architects has just announced it has elected Barry Johns as an Honorary Fellow of the American Institute of Architects for 2002. Advancement to Honorary Fellowship is one of the highest honors the AIA bestows upon international colleagues who have made a significant contribution to architecture and society. Barry Johns was elected a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada in 1994.
