The new Clareview LRT Station and Transit Centre replaces a temporary structure in place since 1981. The design of the station attempts to emulate the ubiquitous, horizontal iconography of the railway. The platform is sheltered by a skeletal frame, expressed as a light, white, aluminum lid.
The new facility and accompanying redevelopment will meet the demand for increased parking and amenities, as well as improved coordination of transit routes. This project is a collaboration with Stantec Architecture Limited.
